Default 1/4 mile devices

has anybody used either the g-tech pro or the apexi rev speed meter, or any other devices that measure the quartermile times, if so what are the best ones and how accurate are these?

Not that accurate... does not account for the time your spinning. But it's good enough to play around with.

some ppl with the old g-tech said it was accurate when they took it to the track. Accurate to what G-tech claims, to .1. What to you mean by account for spinning?

i had the old gtech . . it seemed pretty damn accurate as long as the meter was level to the ground while you were testing it . .

the best test would have been to run the G-tech while he's at the track that time. Its possible he was running 17's while testing it, and its also possible the G-tech was wack. But testing at the track would have guven a hands down answer...

I have the apexi rev/speed meter on my GSR and will be comparing it to the real track this coming sunday.
i also have a rev/speed meter for sale if interested. let me know, because after this sunday i can let you know how accurate it is.

about b2finity saying it doesn't account for your spinning...he is correct. the meters count tire spin as distance travelled. so in theory, i was told you could burnout a 1/4 mile
