My friend started his car today to move it into the garage cause the oil pres. sensor on the back of his motor (b16a in an 89 hatch) and now it won't start? we changed the coil and that wasn't it... what do you guys think it could be? Also his check engine light is on but in the ecu the led isn't on.... so we don't know why the cel is on... any help would be great thanks...

... my bad... yeah it cranks over but no spark... i thought it could be the main relay but i'm not to familiar with the ef's cause' ive got an eg.... could the main relay just go bad like that... TIA

 

check your ignitor

 

yeah i thought of that too but how do i test it? i have a light tester but not sure which wire to test... TIA again..
