2 hoses off my transmission?

i have 2 hoses coming off my transmission on my b16a1 and i dont know what they are..maybe suppose to go to a cooling device?? Anybody know?? any help would be good thanks

i believe those are on the y1 tranny, that's for the speed sensitive steering, you can loop them around that way the fluid will just travel thru each other like they would normally.

I thought they were for cooling purposes ? I thought they ran to the radiator.

I think only Auto trannies have fluid coolers.

I have had those hoses on both the S1 and J1 transmissions I have had. I just made a loop out of some leftover hose and clamped both ends down and I haven't had any problems.
