well...it also depends on the driver. So u can get 0wned aswell.

 

Hondata + I/H/E on the EP3 and the race would be close...

That's a very low 15 sec car (maybe better) and enough to scare a lot of GSRs.

I 0wned 1 gsr at the track 2 times with some slicks
1/8 mile btw.

 

stock for stock my GSR was faster than my EP3

 

I test drove one. Not bad, not great though. Considering I'd just driven a WRX and 02 GTI 1.8T.

It feels like my car (gsr) stock. A little slower but not bad.

I think 80% of the time the GSR will beat the Si. Depending on drivers of course.
There's a guy that runs around here w/ a black one. I hear he tries to race everyone. But thats just what I hear.

GSR's will have to watch out for the modded one's though. Personally I'm just scared of the modded wrx's and neon srt 4 popping up everywhere in my town.

I really need to get that s2k or go boost.

it goes either way with me....Ive pulled some and had some INCH away from me.

 

ive raced two GSR's, one i edged him out by a fender (bad driver i assume), the other i hung at his bumper while he edged me out. GSR is quicker but I think that the EP3 does a pretty good job for not even having real VTEC.

Our Ep's dont have the higher reving vtec system that the older honda's and the Rsx type s has. We only have a system that runs on 12 valve and at about 2k goes to 16 something like that. Most Of us have witnessed a audible pitch change at around 4500 with a intake, but it's still doesnt have the intake and exhaust cam change over system like the RSX. Out vtec system is completly different than the RSX, and in my opinion those stickers on the side shouldn't have been placed there, we got jipped on the vtec.

vtec is vtec. There are just different implementations of the system. But just because they function different does not mean one is more 'real' than the other.

The Ep3 has a vtec system. Period.

eg_nezay.. you said you raced 1/8 track on ur ep3 slicked down?...u dont happen to race at irwindale do u?..cuz if you do i think i remember u askin me to race. that nite you were doing 9.8 stock (slicked down)...i thought that was pretty fast.

hey wassup eg_nezay...im jared, i was driving the silver rsx-s that nite when i saw you, (we were chattin to this one guy with a rhd crx conversion and he said he had "toda pistons" i hope u remember now.)i haven't been going regularly any more due to school ****, ill be out there soon
