Check the kills forum and anyway a GSR should handle the new SI.

Well, considering that the new Si redlines at 6,800, has less hp, i-vtec, i would say the gsr would pretty much had the si's *** to it.

No no no- it is just 15 hp, and that is like saying that a drag racing harley with a redline of like 5000 rpm is going to lose to a gsr.

Sure the gsr is gonna win, but not by 2 carlengths- but it is mainly driver.

And DO IT AT THE TRACK.

Car and Driver reported the new SI as being heavy and slow, in which case I think the GSR would slam it.

Correct me if Im wrong, any of you SI drivers out there...

my best friend has an ep3 si. stock against stock, i kicked his *** through every gear. he put on an aem cai, i put on a BSQ DIY icebox set up with stock filter, he gets me off the line but i still pull about a car on him. no doubt that with the right mods, that car has potential though. plus they're fun as hell to drive.

Yeah, I raced a stock one before too. By the end of it I put about 2 cars on him. The only mod I had at the time was headers.

o fosho! You have to wait till I put my new tranny in, new injectors and hondata in first. I just lowered my compression so im going to be on the boggy side till I hit the dyno.

The paint on your wheels is going to weigh you down

Let me know when you're ready.

I'll get my JDM 4-1 header, 2.5" inch cat., ITR pistons, Skunk2 Valvetrain, and Skunk2 chipped P28, with some tuning time.

Should be fun... but I'm the underdog, so it'll be easier on me.

hehe cool. I cant wait. You will have to give me a month or so to come up with the money to tune. Im in huge dept right now.

I figure we can do it on the SM bridge sometime at around 1-2 am since there are no cars and a nice 11 mile stretch.
