Default Fiberglass Hood and Duckbill

Alright, well for the past couple of months I have been set on getting a Carbon Fiber Hood and Carbon Fiber Duckbill Spoiler for my 93 Civic CX. But now I want to go Fiberglass... the problem is, I have no clue where to look for one who sells/makes 'em and what not. Also, how much would I be expecting to pay? Thanks for the input in advance. Oh yea, if you wanna post pics... by all means!

Scott

Fiberglass hoods are pretty cheap for the skins. Check http://www.mmrusa.com/ they carry a lot of fiberglass products. As for the duckbill, Wings West made one a long time ago, it's probably still available. Good luck

what kinda quality are you lookin' into? I bought a fiberglass duckbill for my eg on the bay of E; for 140 shipped. I painted it semigloss black and clearcoated it. I think it looks very good for what i paid. Especially since its basically just for looks. I don't wanna shell out over 200 bucks on something like that...hoods might be a different story tho...

unless it's going on a dedicated race car, don't bother with the MMRUsa 4lb hood skin. while the weight is tempting, on a daily driver, it will rattle ALL the time. just spend the extra $$ and get the 12lb hood that uses the OEM latches.

i had the 4lb skin. i got sick of it cause it rattled too much. the fitment was PERFECT. like they said tho, YOU MUST use 4 hood pins. here's what it looks like underneath...
