car blows out hot air, but not cold air. not a leak already tried that. any ideas? thanks

 

needs free on. Drain all your old free on out (if any). Go to autozone, pepboys, walmart, etc...buy new free on(refrigerant) and put it in...it has instructions for what to do. SHuold come out cold after that.

 

well, i tried doing that. did for a little while. and the it stopped. im gonna check for a leak again. im gonna put a dye in there when i refill it and use a black light to try and find the leak...if there is one.

 

Make sure the compressor is engageing. You can hear it switch on.

you guys all know it is illegal to release the freon into the air .... take it to a professional and have it done right .... why kill pur ozone layer any more then it is ... it isnt that much to have fixed
