A/C not blowing cold
So, since monday my car not been blowing cold air, My A/C compressor's clutch engages and disengages when i switch the A/C on and off. My blower motor is working cause i get air inside. So, ive just been tinkering with the car and i found that the Evaporator Core is FILTHY and CLOGGED entirely, could that be the problem? I pressed on the valves on the lines to the condenser and it sprayed out. ill post some pictures, any input is greatly appreciated guys thanks

Re: A/C not blowing cold
I'm new to here too. Since no one else has commented, I will at least try.
I don't know squat on A/C, but I guess from how you are describing, it sounds like the clogged part is exactly the problem. Just clean it out and it should function if all other things are good.

Re: A/C not blowing cold
Is it blowing cool air at all or is it just hot air?
Is the compressor cycling or does it just stay on all the time?
If it does blow some "cooler" air does it do it at idle or when you are at driving speeds? Does your condenser fan run at all (doesn't usually automatically run when the A/C is turned on with the engine fan like most models)?
It wouldn't hurt to clean the evaporator but its doubtful its the issue since it just suddenly stopped working as the evaporator probably has been dirty for a while.

Lol just throwing some things out there.
Have you recently done any work inside the engine bay? Could a A/C possibly be disconnected or something?
Does the A/C fan at the radiator turn on when you turn your A/C switch on?
Like I said I don't know squat on A/C systems.
