it never used to do this.. it like limits my speed when i press the gas all the way down.. why? and its not the ECU or engine cause it used to do it and it still does it after my SI swap. its a 93 CX with d16z6????

 

sometimes I feel like my CX does that, but maybe cause it still has CX motor in it.

but its not a cx its SI .. it hesitates a lil when i pull out sometimes.. as if the gas is on a delay??

 

Same thing here... d16z6. I mash down the gas, there is a delay. 500ms/900ms, then it kicks in.

Dirty Fuel filter? My CRX used to do that, my uncle changed the fuel filter, cleaned the injectors and it didnt do it anymore.

I have the same problem too with my B16, but i notice that when you want lanched at the line, just easily press it in and then slam on it. for some reason this helps alot in my car. but, changing the fuel filter will help.

 

i changed fuel filter on mine.. same thing.. i finally realized i drive a cx.......
****..no my tranny whines...

 

sounds like a good proposition to me.. my 98ex does the same thing. small motors dont have very much torque
