Default Engine makeing "GRRRR" noise on start-up.

I was told it was because I needed to change my brake fluid. I ran across this on:

http://www.team-integra.net/sections...?ArticleID=417

It shows how to blead the fluid from all four calipers, but how about the brake master cylinder? how do I change that? when I bleed the fluid from the caliper will I need the add fluid to the master cylinder?

Do a search on how to bleed your brakes. There are a bajillion and one posts on how to do it. It includes making sure that the fluid level never goes above the max or below the min line. It's not hard, I did it last week. Just make sure you're opening the valve all the way, fluid/air should come out pretty quickly once it's open... fast enough that it makes noise in the hose... at least mine did.

if the noise is coming from under the passengers dash area, and the noise only happens as you start to pull away, then its the ABS system charging. NO NEED to change brake fluid.

If its not that then still, you should ask around more, dont always trust one opinion or answer.

ABS motor (on my '95) is RH side, next to air cleaner housing. Have somebody listen while the hood is up; when you sitting in the car the location of the sound is pretty misleading.

If its the ABS motor, then its normal. BUT - the ABS has its own brake-fluid reservoir & bleed valve. Maybe the fluid in there is low or the accumulator has to be bled...
