will my wheel offset be alright???
ok, i have a 94 civic coupe and have neuspeed konis, custom rate gc's, and want to get one of two sets of wheels. im wondering if i will have an offset problem with either one being that i want to run 205/50/15 azenis.
1. 15" rota c8's - +38 offset, so might rub outer fender?
2. 15" rota group n - +40 offset, so should be alright?
i want to have about a 1 finger gap (5/8" for my finger
) all around. im thinking that i may have a small problem with the c8's, but i am getting my body fixed and repainted so i could have the fenders rolled at the same time if i really had to. what do you guys think? any experience out there? thanks.
btw, the car will be black, c8's would be bronze, group n's would be black with red lip. thanks again.

thanks for the reply...still looking for good first hand info. i believe that tom (b18c5-eh2) has the c8's and azenis, but not a huge drop. id be looking for a little bit more than his car, but not too much. thanks again for any help you guys can give me.

well, the wheels will be 15x6.5 which will fit just fine. the problem may be that the azenis are so wide...205's are actually around 215's. im looking to get some personal experience from people who have thee set-ups and how low they are and if they rub and stuff. thanks.

I had a 39+(15x6.5) offset rim on my Ek and it rubbed soooo bad. It destroyed my fender lining.
With azenis, I'll bet you're gonna run into problems.

i had group n's with azenis on my 94 CX and it rubbed a lot in the rear. I like driving around with a little tire tuck on all fours. I rolled my rear fenders.
edit even if I raised it up with a 2 finger gap all around it rubbed when I would take a turn pretty hard.

thanks for all the replies. i think im going to go with the group n's and azenis being that they are +40 offset. this will give me at least a little more room. i wont be going as low as having tuck, but i would like it to be about a 1 finger gap (5/8") all around. ill just have the body guy roll all 4 fenders while he is fixing my rust and repainting the car. thanks again, and keep the repllies coming inf you have experience with this....

I am running Focal R3s with a 45+ offset on a 1.5" drop and i get mad rubbing in the front. I am getting rid of them for that reason, I think a +40 is good. Mine just rub when the wheel is turned almost or all the way, such as when pulling a U-turn. So the 5mm difference is prob about right to fix this problem.
Stock on a EK is like +36 so think about that. Wider is better, but not when your car be dropped.
