I don't have the Xtreme, but I do have the Maxx Xtreme pressure plate. I wanted something with a very firm pedal (I hate modern mushy pedals) and (from what I have read) most people with the plain Xtreme report that it is only slightly stiffer than stock. I don't think you will go wrong with either.

I Have the XTSS after the mistake of buying the Exedy Organic...

I love it! Holds the power and the pedal is very bearable! Engagement is smooth mated with ACT's Street/Strip Disc! I would suggest this clutch to anyone. if u want a stock pedal feel then got with the HDSS.

Pedal Pressure is still but after 30k on it, it still grabs with everything its got. I let my friend Jimmy drive my car and for the first time, i saw his chirp the 3-4 shift with pretty decent tires on. He's a quick shifter ( fastest i've ever seen ) and he did with with a great clutch. The only complaint i've got is that the throwout bearing's starting to get a little worn. my car's NA so its not handling as much power as some of the turbo car's but she's going on strong.

So basically Everyone here seems to say I'll be happy- good to hear!

Second I have bought from "clutchcityonline" before and they seem to have a good prices and good customer service.

Now can anybody beat their price???

Quote :
" Xtreme Pressure Plate w/ Hybrid Street Disc Kit 70-100% 319 ft-lb AI4-XTSS $493.00 "

I have been getting IMs from all over and no one is close, also I have been shopping around on differnet sites and still they are the least exspensive-

So I'll ask again "Now can anybody beat their price???"

If I don't hear from someone by the end of Monday March 17, 2003 I'll be placing an order with them again not that its a bad thing But I did want to support the people who make H-T happen.

I tried and there is not much more I can do, unless you IM me

Pete read j00r sig! J00 is ma bish . . . SUPPORT THE EXPO SPONSORS!!!!!!!

Anyone calling landspeed. Although I like Mark and Landspeed (good peoples). Once you get their price check with the sponsors like IPS to see if they will match it. Pay them back for all they have done!!

BBasso I will cover the difference if you will just support the sponsors! I think I can swing $2.

I can't say too much bad about clutch city but I can say even more good about IPS. Plus I don't see clutch City spending $3000 on the Expo!!!!!!!!!

Trey

I am gonna lose my mind if you guys don't strat buying from the sposnors!

Thanks Marc,
If I don't save every penny and I mean that litetrly then I can not make it to the EXPO. I most definately want to come but can't afford to waist 2.00 here and 10.00 there. I also need this car to be ready to handle NYC traffic every day YES 6 days a week and that means putting in good quality parts that hopefully won't fail me in the middle of rush hour traffic.

As for Supporting the sponsers, I have, I did buy some pads from Andie.
I gave many chances for everone to beat clutchcity, but Mike was the only one who came close, but the 2+ shipping is 2+ shipping more...

Pennies people pennies...

Thanks for not burning this thread down to the ground, and I hope you understand that I"M BROKE!!!

ok, I still have yet to hear back about my offer. I will cover $2 + shipping. We owe these sponsors. You are trying to keep a budget to get to the Expo that woudl not even be an Expo like this.

Not to mention I would bet you folks will go to dinner one night this week and leave a $2 tip to someone you don't even know.

ANd I bought from Clutch City. They covered the Exedy but I certainly didn't all my money back even with only 8000 miles on the clutch. I did get compensated but had I not been in a jam I would have used the place that sent me an offer fully cover it even though I didn't buy it.

Mike will take care of you after the fact and that is worth $2. YOu pay more than that for insurance right?

Trey

I Don't think anyone is being a **** All i see is Trey and George promoting Expo Sponsors. The Sponsors are what helped make the Expo happen and should have full support of HT and the ITR Forum.

I will admit it slights me a bit that a fellow RSpeed member would rather order from a NON HT Sponsor and NON ITR Expo sponsor over a measily $2. Thats just sad.

PS My Shipping price was an approximation and Could be more or less, Most of the time less as Its better to say 10-15 and have it be 15 than to say about 10 and then have to tell someone its higher.

I'll invite you to put together an expo, get outstanding support from sponsors and then have someone outwardly not support them over $2 and not be a little adimate.

He can do what he wants, that is what makes america great. Just like I can post what I think right here.

chit, buy them from mike, trey gives you the difference and I'll give you $10 at expo for gas.

Now you can waste that $10 on another expo sponsor.

-Dave, who can't believe this is over 2 dollars.. makes me think of the movie "better off dead" "I WANT MY TWO DOLLARS!" lol
