Default steering wheel not lined up!

u just put in new coilovers and a skunk2 camber kit, i dont know if it happend directly after i did that but i just noticed that the steering wheel is off a little bit.. it isnt straight it, its off to the left a little bit
?? anyone??

lowering the car affects your alignment. Get a tape measure, some string, and re-set your toe.

when i lowered my car i got it aligned right away. that'll probably fix your problem.

Yeah, but if you more than 1/2 inch off either way, your lookin for trouble.

Yes it could! If the toe was off, & the mechanic got lazy & only adjusted the tie rod on one side, then your steering wheel won't be centered.

If you toe is good, then you center the wheel by shortening one tie rod & lengthening the other by exactly the same amount. But first, check to see that the steering wheel turns exactly the same amount both ways. If it doesn't, then first thing to do is make it so by removing the steering wheel from its shaft.

AHAHahhahaHAHAHaAhAHAHha... but seriously... let's make this simple... an alignment means that the mechanic aligns the wheels. Really really simply put, the wheels aren't facing the right direction... they're pointing lets say left... THEN your steering wheel will be turned left... WHY? because your wheel is turned left. Get an alignment.
