umm, i have a 96 civic, had the hub caps off my car for like a year, gonna sell the car so i'm trying to put them back on and for some reason, they don't seem to snap tight like before.... dunno if i'm doin somethin wrong or what? wouldn;t think you'd have to take off the lug nuts to put them on would you? don't remember....

 

yeah you do have to take off the lug nuts. the plastic washer on the nut holds the hub cap tight

 

Exactly, the only thing that holds on honda hub caps are the lug nuts

do i have to have to have the stock lug nuts? i had 17s on before and misplaced them, so my friend who i sold the 17s to gave me his lug nuts off his 93 prelude, those will work right?

i believe you need an extra plastic washer thing, but i may be wrong, considering my dx has none!!!

 

so i'm gonna gave to go buy some plastic washers? cuz i know there is nothing like that on the prelude lug nuts i have.....

 

you do need the plastic washer things but of course my car never had them so I lost 3 hubcaps and now have one to proudly display in the corner of the garage.

the lude lugs will work, hondas are all 12x 1.5
