Does anyone know when the skunk2 sohc cams and intake manifold are coming out. I remember seeing some pictures of them a while ago but I haven't heard anything in a while. THanks for the info

supposedly in April/May. but why is everyone waiting on these. just get some Crowers and for intake the Y8 does just a fine job unless you're going FI then time to get a Venom or something along those lines

 

i would like to know myself...best thing to do is call skunk and ask...i cant at this moment because its saturday night and they're closed.

 

I hear that Crower is one of the lesser cams for the d16...As in it doesn't perform well as others. What is the best N/A cam for the d16 out right now that does not require valve springs?

 

they're hard to find but i use to have jg sohc cam on my old 95si.

 

It depends on which cam you get. If you get their "replacement" cam then no kidding there isn't going to be much more performance, that thing is barely over stock specs.

 

find a cam off a d15 vtec (jdm), itll be cheap, and its more radical. basically you get the same hp as we do here in the us, with .1 less liters. doesnt sound like much, but considering its a honda......

I've got a Crane stage 2 cam in my a6. love it. no upgraded valvesprings. I hear the ZEX cam for the sohc vtec engines are where it's at

 

does anyone know any info about the intake mani. Is it going to just basically be a y8 manifold. I have heard that the b series skunk2 is just a type r replica but not ported and polished as well. Should I expect the same thing with the d series manifold? THanks
