Anyone know where to find a break upgrade for a CRX. I am looking for a resonably priced upgrade for a 91 CRX... Can be OEM or aftermarket. Any help is appreciated. Please PM me with any info.

 

I know the wrecking yards in Hayward have a lot. is it for a 91 si? if its a DX upgrade it to si wheel disc set up.

 

Yeah it's an SI and it already has rear disc breaks. He is looking for a good breaking system for all types of driving. It's a daily driver but he autox's the car and drags it. He really isnt sure what to go for. Any ideas?

 

not sure but I think the 90-93 brakes are a upgrade. if he wants a firmer pedal, I suggest SS brake lines, better pads, and a full face or slotted rotor. Master cylinder brace helps a lot also for increased pedal pressure.

 

I second what the last guy just said, brembo rotors are fairly cheap and good, aem pads and hawk pads are great to

 

Do a search in this forum for "big brakes" or "brakes". You'll come up with a plethora of good info. REXVT has an 11" brake setup on his car made from mostly stock parts. Happy hunting.

 

i have 99 si front brakes on my 89 hatch along with a rear disk swap and i havnt driven it yet but i have like a week till my motor goes in and i cant wait
