Default Accidentally reved engine really high. Now engine is ticking. Help please

I have a 90 Crx Si, stock motor, and I was beating on my it and I went to shift into second and missed the shift(i know it was dumb, but please dont comment on that). The revs were around 7500 maybe a little higher on my tach. Now my engine is ticking, just wondering how much a should worry about it, what it could be, and how a might be able to stop it. Thanks for the help.

check your valves, make sure they're all in check...

well, I took a screwdriver and put it up to the head and put my ear on it and listened for where the noise was coming from and it seems like cylinder 1. Im thinking its a valve or lifter. Thanks for the help.
