Default 1st time at the 1/8 mile track for a stock gsr with short-ram intake

1st run
reaction: 1.147
I1: 2.445
I2: 6.811
ET: 10.410

2nd run
reaction: .843
I1: 2.469
I2: 6.841
ET: 10.411

3rd run
reaction: .810
I1: 2.673
I2: 7.095
ET: 10.665

4th run
reaction: .675
I1: 2.619
I2: 7.019
ET: 10.585

i'm dumping around 3500 and the wheels spin a lot...what would you guys say i should do different next time according to the numbers? this might just be a bad track, i was able to beat a i/h/e gsr by about 2 car lengths

Next time you go try dumping your clutch at 6500 or 7000 grand it worked for me. Feather it till you pick up and get traction and this was at palmdale, I had alot of fun. Better than street racing and i thought i would never say that .

it was at the denton dragstrip in sanger, tx...the altitude is about sea level i think

dumping at 6500 or 7000 sounds a little overboard, i don't think my stock tires would be able to handle that...

You found your own problem. Stock tires won't cut it if you want good times.

try dumping the clutch at 7000 from 2nd gear. works for me in GT3. take off is a little slower but pays off by third gear. should knock at least .5 sec off your time.

Please tell me that was a joke.

Buy some new rubber. $400 on tires can net you better gains than $1000 in mods.

try launching at 2800, a stock gsr with just a short ram should pull 2.4 60' and 10.0 1/8ET
