Well it was a beautiful day today at Sebring International Raceway. I woke up early to meet a couple of buddies of mine about an hour north of the track. We headed over there together in our Type R's yO!



We managed to have a little fun ourselves we-todd style before arriving to the track for the day.



Oh yeah if you wanna know who that is in the picture above doing the car trick it is this we-todd loser! haha



Luckily this guy didn't see him doing car tricks



So we finally get there and there is so many people around. This was my first professional road race attendance so i was very excited to see the RTR team in person as well as numerous other groups. One of the very first cars we see as we are walking around is this. You might imagine that i do love this car as it is my HT screen name!



We finally find the RTR tent and get to talk to just about all of the guys. They were all really cool and let us come into the tent and shoot the **** and what have you. Here i am giving them my expertise knowledge about this DC2R on how to shave off 3/10ths each lap



I think i need to buy me one of these so i can not feel like a stunna yO!



They told me Peter Cunningham shifted from 5th to 2nd and spun the motor up to 11,500 RPM's and rod #3 went with though the oil pan. This was during qualifying and NOT the actual race. These guys put it back together in no time as you might of imagined.



Onto the actual race. We were standing at T7 which is the hairpin turn. It was a decent view considering the fact that everywhere it was packed. Here are a few shots during the race.









This looked hilarious when i first saw it. Didn't see how it happened.

Finally i think these cars might give the RTR Type R's a run for their money
(:hint: they are mine and ITRchris' car)

Hey guys... If I wasnt up north with my guys from http://www.i-4band.com shooting mad pics I would have been there with bells on. Talk about fun... 8 states in 4 days. More than likely I will miss Xpo for a huge concert in the works with them, however... we did have some fun up there. We were able to hit some skiing, I snowboard... so I was stoked... not to mention... http://www.f1boston.com is the bomb... ask me how I know... see you guys soon missed yall

hey thats pretty kool. the pit crew are the same people from last year. some familiar faces. real nice guys too. did you ever talk to cunningham? he is a super nice guy. oh and at the VIR race, he blew 2 NSX motors and they just rolled them out like it was an all you can eat buffet. my jaws dropped.

 

no i didn't get a chance to talk to Cunningham although i probably could have if i wanted to. He was talking to some of the crew members after they put his motor back together right before the race. He seemed like a nice guy just listening to him in the background while i was talking to the technicians.

 

American Lemans is going to Road Atlanta 2 times, is Speed Challenge.
