motec, from my understanding has a 32 bit processor while most are still on 16 bit or even 8 bit. it's adaptable to most engine sensors, and it can run a high res ref sensor, so the motor runs smoother with more accurate timing.
the m4 pro (advanced tune/datalogging & wideband) features
traction control, boost control, launch control, individual cylinder tuning w/ seperate fuel & ignition tables for each cylinder, closed loop wide band (like autotune), capability to run individual coils on each plug, 30 mins of datalogging built in monitering all sensors, built in diagnostics to check injectors/sensors.
and that's the majority of the features. the injector drivers on the motec are also top notch. they can idle some ridiculously sized injectors (in excess of 1000cc) like stock. With this ecu and a good tuner, not only will the car make huge power, which any stand alone can do, but will also have amazing drivability.
Some say that the Autronic is every bit as good, or perhaps even better, but I like the motec. It must be the gold box its housed in.
