Default JDM DC 4-1 Fuggin Rips!

Holy cow I woulda never expected this much of a difference, this header is awesome! Header seems to make a very noticable difference from about 5k up and it actually made the J's a little more quiet Thanks to VPR Motorsports for the good deal on the header and SMS Carsound and thanks to Ferrell for holding hands with me ummmm I mean helping put the new header on

Couple pics of the new header (notice my new J's/strut bar non-rubbing mod)

Again this header roxors, a really great buy!

And a pic of the freshly washed ITR

That Engine Bay is "straight BLINGIN' Yo ~!" hahaha

I wish i could keep my engine bay that clean. I have the JDm front and with the opening where the grill is, on a rainy or moist day, the air that enters through there makes the engine bay look horrible. I try to keep my engine bay that clean but its not possible. Glad you like the header!

what did you use to clean it? I assume a toothbrush and something else? hahaha
I use Simple Green but im afraid its gonna eat up the plastic or rubber underneath the hood plus im not sure how it effects the valve cover.

i like the white jdm rims.....

My non rubbing mod is a black drink huggy ;P - it looks kinda ghetto but gets the job done nicely..

im soo happy, this weekend i get to put my spoon header one and smsp testpipe.. (which both might be up forsale soon, might be buying turbo kit)

but chris, you got me pumped now to put the header on

How much of a performance gain do you get with that header? I mean I have been looking to buy that exact header and I have heard from people that there is not that much of an increase from stock I did not want to spend all that money and time on something that gave me like 3hp.

Jordo you better get us some pics tomorrow and go spray your old exhaust bolts w/ some penetrating oil unless you have a big strong man like Ferrell around to break your bolts

Well butt-dyno says around 7-12 hp from 5k up, that's just a guess but it definitely made a big difference. For the price I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

Sounds good. I need to get a header. I think it may be my next mod. The JDM DC 4-1 makes more power than OEM JDM 4-1 right? How's the ground clearance?
