supposedly a good replacement for OEM pads for street use. Not suitable for track use.

i remember that from some searches back in the day.

I believe NISSIN/OEM pad maker makes the AEM pads also. Probably better than stock and good for street use. As Rob mentioned for tracking, I'd look elsewhere.

you are correct.
nissin is the oem pad maker for honda, and aem pads are made by nissin.
similar to a metal master pad, not for heavy track use though.

I use the Perfomance Friction Z compound. Good for the street and good for an occasional track day too. If you track your car a lot you may want something more aggresive.

I have them on. They are very good as a replacement and are made by Nissin. The pads feel like oem but grabs harder. There is very little dust from them and no squeeling at all. However they are not the best for track or extreme hard driving.

from what I've read, a step above the AEM pads. I have the ultimate pads front and rear on my car and it is definitely a step above the stock pads w/o many drawbacks of the track only pads. does dust a bit more than the stocks, though. good thing is the dust is non corrosive and is easy to wash off.
