Need Knowledge about cars to converse with husband. Help!
I thought I'd take an interest in cars or at least try to learn about them for my baby. Spade wants to get a CRX and I know he won't stop talking about them until he gets one. So if there is anyone that can share with me what they think of it. How they like it. Dependability and mostl importantly to him, the modifications that can be done with them, I'd really appreciate it. Remember, I'm TOTALLY new try to keep it in english as much as possible.
Hey babe. Nice Username
Hrm. I am going to answer as if I would answer anyone else. It's more about hanging out and reading what people have to say for a little while.
Try bouncing around in all the forums and seeing what kind of topics are there. Each forum has a different atmosphere.

this is a question that could take forever to answer, ill just start off by giving you some insight into it and let others post their experiences with crxs.
Ive had my 1991 si crx for about 3 years now, and i totally love, its weight and handling is just excellent, as well as its look. My suggestion to you and him is to do some research as to the history of crx's, theres tons of sites out there with info on this, try a search on google or you can go to http://www.quickhonda.com, theres lots of good stuff there. You need to know a little history on them because theres diff models diff generations(2) and depending on what he can find will factor into what can be done to them. You can pretty much do anything from swap in a great number of motors into them to turboing and supercharging them. Some links to check out would be:

I think what is important is that you show an interest in what what he is saying. Just listen and don't let it just go in one ear and out the other.
This is true about any subject and he should do the same thing for things that are of interest to you!
Offer to help him research out questions that he may not have the answer for.
In other words; just be involved.

my wife does'nt really take an interest per say but she supports me. she's happy if i trophy at autocross. she always asks how part installations went and what gains the car will get from it. what do you drive? maybe you guys could build up your car. if you've only got one car than you'll notice and appreciate what he's doing as you'll feel the car become a better car.
