sup guys. I was just wondering what kind of exhausts you guys are running. I was thinking of getting either a thermal 3 inch exhaust, or custom 3 inch exhaust someone is selling in the FI classifieds forum. Either way, i would like to hear what some fellow r owners are using.

 

i still ahve my 2.5 apexi n1, im gonna swap out for a 3inch soon , dont knwo if i want another apexi or thermal

 

dont get a 3in if you are not FI, you'll end up losing power. My personal favorites for NA is the Type 1 exhaust or the N1 Apexi.

 

I think he's FI or planning on going boost, if not he wouldn't ask.

3" Thermal + 3" carsound = LOUD but i like it.....

 

did you have to get a tapered carsound cat? cuz my turbo dp is 2.5 inches and i heard that you have to get this tapered carsound cat that goes from 2.5-3.0 inches. how much did you pay for the thermal 3 inch and 3 inch carsound cat?

mugen exhaust for turbocharged car? isnt the mugen like 2.38 inch exhaust? turbo usually needs 3 inch exhaust.

 

why not upgrade to a 3" dp to go with your exhaust?

What turbo kit are you running?
I have a 3" DP for a Drag III kit to get rid of.

 

Actually I bought a 3 bolt reducer flange from summit racing for like $20 bucks or something... i think i paid $100 shipped for the cat, $520 shipped for the thermal and like $100 for the welding of the flanges on the exhaust, dp and cat and 2 o2 sensor bungs welded in.

I have the max rev 2.5"dp btw

Turbo "needs" whatever I tell it, it needs..

Mugen exhaust is not the best for turbo BUT its quiet and quiet is GOOD!

Get the thermal exhaust. It was the best fitting exhaust that i have used. Granted this is not on a ITR. Nice deep bass'ey sound to it.
