Dead Car!
Stock.....everything is stock.......I can jump it and it will run, but if i turn it off it wont do a thing........All electrical stuff was starting to turn off, like rado and clock, and then eventually it just died. Battery is fairly new, and i the alternator is still the original. The battery light goes on at idle and very low RPM's, but goes off when you give it gas.......I'm just assuming alternator. I"m going to try tightening the belt first and see what happens, but is there anything else i should be concerned about?
Thanks

Take your car or just take your altenator up to like Autozone they test them for free. If you take it out and bring it up there and it ends up being bad atleast you will have the core right away and then you could pick up the new one and bring it home put it in and you should be good to go. I would also probably charge up your battery first so your altenator doesnt have to try as hard to charge and plus an altenator cant give your battery a full charge like a battery charger can.
