Well i knew the time would come that I evently would get tired of grinding gears or driving like a granny so I called up Len @ Baranco Acura and ordered my self some parts. Got all the syncro sleeves, axle seals & circlips so now i can rebuild my tranny brand new Also got my xact 8.8lbs flywheel yesterday so no more grinding on start up Thanks a million Len, you rock

Well here is the deal, when to do it? The weekend of the 29th is that meet in SC/NC. The weekend of the 22nd is next weekend so its kinda close. The weekend of the 5th is only 2 days before leaving for expo so if something goes wrong i'm s.o.l.

22nd weekend = moroso for me, but I'll do the tranny just might not be able to stay and party.

29th weekend is also fine with me.

to Len got a full nose mask for the MDX for my mom Tue.

 

Just rolled up on 33k... Its a long story... The normal 2nd gear syncro started going out, would not be covered under warrenty due to final drive install. Then I decided to launch the R over some rail road track and poped and axle out and did not know. Drove for a day or 2 with no tranny fluid and toasted the rest of the syncros It even grinds if i shift into 5th over 4k rpms.

 

Ok well my main machanic (D ) can't be here next weekend (the 22nd) so it looks like its going to be a small crowd on the 29th. D is going to shoot down thursday and we are going to do as much work as we can thursday night. I have to work Friday so D will stay and work on tranny or just lay around or something. Finish tranny friday night and have saturday & sunday to do what ever

 

Me leave O-town around 6. tranny on the ground by 9:30. Smoking a bowl by 12.

Will I understand u got to be back Sunday and stuff, u know u are always welcome, but just remember we will be back up there in 2 weeks for expo so I'm not sure it will be worth the drive. But that is up to you.

 

Ok well it looks like this is not going to be a big party since Expo is so close. Think we are just going to bust *** and get the work done then hang out. If you want to show up, shoot me an IM and i'll let u know how to get to my place. Or we might be at shooters or on the beach or something like that on Saturday if we get the tranny done Friday.
