Will an exhaust from a 2000GSR fit a 1998 GSR (both 2 door cars)? All the companies have the 2000-2001 GSR's listed separately from the rest on their websites??

yea, because they are different. 2000/2001 gsr exhaust is interchangeable w/ 94-99 LS, and 98-01 ITR .

 

No. The reason is the 94-99 GSR header is a different length than the 00-01. Therefore it will not bolt up. So you need an exhaust specific for GSR from 94-99.

Here is a illusration of what I'm talking about:

 

If you get the whole exhaust (header, cat, catback) it should fit fine. Otherwise, good luck.

Ok, I had to do this on the Greddy exhaust I used to have. It was on an LS integra and I had to lengthen it by 3" to fit my GSR....CRAP

I think I will buy it anyway, its a good deal and I should be able to get a piece of pipe welded in for 50 bucks or so...

First you will need to get a custom cat because the collector is 2.5". So you can get a custom cat to fit btn the JDM ITR header and the stock exaust if you wanted to. But best thing to do is to get a custom 2.5 cat back as well to remove all the bottleneck.

You will have to cut 3 inches or so off the exhaust at the B-pipe side where it connects to the cat. That should solve your problem.

I am going to have to add 3 inches of piping on to the exhaust I am buying because I am the exact opposite of you.
