New addition to the car..
got a pretty good deal on this wheel. so i decided to go with it. im only gonna use it for track events or the strip. it has good grip.
*and remember, this is MY wheel, not yours*

I think the RED button fires the NOS seeking sidewinder rockets.
Hehehe - just kidding. Interesting.

Function over form.
If it does what you want it to,
no matter what it looks like.
Why do you like the shifter backwards? *simple curiousity*

for some reason i like for example the mustang shifters and how they angle front and down type of deal. just a way of gripping it i guess. more towards the front of the car. i know, it sounds confusin.
i have 2 stock shifters ima mess around with and try to heat them and bend them. but i dont know, the metal could get weak and thats trouble.
i havnt really driven the car with the shifter "backwards" yet. ive sat in it and it does the job. when i get to shifting, i will see. perhaps i might switch back if it gets tooo weird

I know what you mean about the Mustang shifters, I kind of like how they sit too. I don't think having a backwards shifter is going to give you the Mustang feel when you're actually driving the car. *shrug*
lol.... good you guys understand. the way they are positioned. haha thats it. so i dont know, i wanted to see what kind of feel backwards has. as far as i know, its the same throw pattern or whatever its called, so i wont be messing any gears up.
what about reach on the shifter? Does that make it hard to get to when driving? I always thought the stock shifter was just a little too far away, seems this would make it worse (unless you're tall and have long arms)
i like to sit up close to the wheel for some reason. i dont like to be "stunnafied" and be leaning back. the reach isnt bad, but like i said, i havnt taken the car on the raods yet for some real driving so i havnt really tried it.
actually its a theft recovery. i swapped a motor in it. ive just been doing lots of work inside the car. i have lots of empty boxes from mufflers, to steering wheels. lots of scrap wires from jumping the service connector. i keep loosing them. stuff just adds up.
the car has been driven once only. put like 1 mile on it. the other 9 are from when put it in gear to break it in on jack stands.
