if anyone else has/had that little squeaking, cherping cricket noise comming from the back seat area, how did you deal with it?.... do i just have to ignore it and turn up the stereo? or has anyone found a solution?... let me know...... thanks

 

dunno what it might be since my integra has a few squeaks here and there. just take a look around, maybe pull out the rear seats and see if anything is loose

 

kill the cricket.

 

fold down the seats and wd-40 every bolt that you see

 

haha, just throw a toad back there and he'll take care of it.

 

maybe its your suspension, is it stock or do you have aftermrket springs and shocks?

 

nah put another one there, wait a week, and then turn DOWN the stereo-

actually i dont know exactly what kind of spings and shocks i have, when i bought it, it was already lowered, so maybe it has to do with that..... but it sounds like the noise is inside... under the seat or in the trunk area..... i guess ill have to investigate... or get some raid to kill the cricket....

 

i also have some crickets in the rear of my car. hope somebody has a solution for it

 

fold the seat down, drive around. If the noise is gone, lube the seat back latch. Took car of my cricket noise.

I have a lot of noises coming from my trunk area also.

 

Mines been doing the same thing...tends to only happen when it gets cold out though, something to do w/cold weather and metal and blah blah blah.

 

wrap the latch on your hatch lid w/ electrical tape and see if that helps.

 

I FIGURED IT OUT! i think it was the spring cuz it was kinda tweaked but then it was adjusted and now the noise is finally gone!!!

 

I get that from the hatch of my girl's car.... I just pop the hatch while driving... it goes away...lol..

Imma try that electrical tape thing...
