Well i finally got my header for my car(CRX w/LS swap). Ive been waiting for it because the engine i got didnt come with a Y pipe so it was open header. Well when i started it with the stock header on w/o a y pipe the engine would smoke...i thought that it was the exhaust coming from the header. Well i got my Chikara header today(i know its not the best kind but the swap left me broke) and i put it on and started it...guess what!!! It still smoked. It doesnt look like its coming from the bottom of the engine....it seems to be coming from the exhaust ports. I dont see how it could be coming from there because that thing is on there TIGHT. What else could it be? Could it be a blown head gasket? BTW...the header was painted black but i dont think that its supposed to stay black. I think it was painted to keep it from getting scratched during shipping. Could it be the paint burning off? Thanks

It's normal dude.. that chikiara header has a bunch of **** on it.. just let it run for about 30-40 mins, and go drive it, it should be just fine..
