Intercooler fitment? How big can we go?
How is it possible to fit a monster cooler up front like these civic and other guys are doing... notch the bumper supports or what? Like 30x10x3 (yes I am serious)?
Just curious how big everyone is currently running and how it fits?
Thoughts?

Core Length : 24" (600mm)
Core Height: 9" (230mm)
Core Thickness: 3" (750mm)
Inlet Size: 2" o/d (50mm)
Outlet Size: 2.5" o/d (650mm)
"End to End" Length: 30.5" (770mm
thats the one i ll be running. so fitment isnt a question it will HAVE TO FIT!

Yeah i am sure some cutting will be done. ive been just waitng to do it
small price to pay for boost
my friend has a 93 hb and he is in the process of installing his turbo with a 24x11x3 core intercooler (comes out to like 30x11x3 or something like that with endtanks). he had to remove his bumber support and weld on brackets to bolt the intercooler to. if you remove your bumber support, you shouldnt have a problem with fitmet as long as you can find places to mount it to but i think that you would rather have a bumber support to take some of the impact off the intercooler in case you accidently hit your bumber on something.
I hopefully can get away with just notching the bumper support as the accord has a bit more room in the front than a civi.
Either way I am going to get the 29x10x3 and make it work (thats with endtanks fyi).

I just ordered my new intercooler 30x9x3 and all i had to do was cut out the middle section of my bumper support. PITA but it should fit, i only have to worry about mounting problems.
