Jrc 8'' Vs. Jrc 6'' fitment and cooling question:::EG:::
i know that the 6'' intercooler is a great intercooler and does the job, but the 8'' is just that much bigger and has numerious extra rows of cooling for the same price... has any of the Eg guys had any problems with the fitment / intstall of this intercooler. im really looking for pics of the intercooler on with out the bumpber, so that i can get a idea of how far below the bumper the 8'' hangs and where you guys are mounting it...
being that they are the same price....the smartest thing would be the 8'' i think.
info on the 2

There are twelve cooling rows and eleven fin rows on this intercooler.
The cooling rows on this intercooler are internally finned.
The end tanks have a brushed finish.
The threaded mounting points are steel. There are three inserts in the top and three inserts in the bottom.

yea the support bar have to be cut with the 8", if you don't want the intercooler hanging 2 inch below your bumper, where it can be scraped up and damage from speed bumps and etc. With the 6", you do not have to cut the support bar

exactly, we cut the bumper cover where the vents go in. just around like the grill peieces. i think it looks better that way. but all in all it would take 1 person about a hour to mount it. not bad for how it ends up looking.
