Default Testing waters (ITR for sale)

I'm just seeing if there would be any intrest in my Type-R. I'm not sure if I'm selling it yet. It's a 2000 with 25000 miles PY. Price would depend on what I left on it. I would be asking for 23000 the way it is.
ATS FD
Comptech header
AEM intake
H&R sports
Koni yellows
Azenis
JDM rear strut
AEM brake pads
VAFC (never got dyno time for it)

Would also come with an integra car cover and the front bra.
All stock parts would go with the car including first set of tires which still have some tread left.
I can take some things off and lower the price some, but I don't want to remove the FD just because it's alot of work for me.

sorry I forgot the VIN JH4DC2319YS003082
I will email pictures but I can never get them to post.

probably easier to sell if its stock. $23K might be a little steep, thats only around 2K less than brand new.

I plan on bring the price down to 21000 with everything back to stock except the FD because that's just a pain in the *** to change

you put your toe in the water to test it before you jump in. It's a metaphor. READ A BOOK!

how would 21000 be too much? Thats less than blue book value. If I sell the R and the blazer I can get an evo for about the same payments and my insurance would be less. Then I can play with the evo in the snow oh and it's not just testing the waters anymore. It is up for sale.

it's humorous when people that come up to this board and gripe that things are too much. this car is too much money. this part is too much money.

so long as there is a buyer for a given price, it is not too much money. just b/c you may feel it is too much money, it does not imply it is for everyone...only for you.

For instance, spoon. imho its over priced stuff. its definately of a nice quality, but imho, its overpriced. Apparently, all the spoom fanatics on this board think otherwise...and obviously they are in business as they are selling.

one of the guys i know who had stored ITR out of the show room (had it towed out into storage) just sold his 2000 ITR a few months back with 9 miles on the car at an east coast auction for a little over 31,000.

Is that too much for a three year old car? apparently the bidder did not think so. Personally, I dont think so, and I thought it could have went for a bit more if it was a more popular auction.

Soup **** is right. Basically, only the seller knows what they can get for the car. We don't know what shape it's in or how hard it's been driven. If the seller doesn't get what they're asking then they are still stuck with a Type R, darn. The best time to sell a car is when you really don't have to sell it.

thats because j00 are a we todd

seriously though, it also has to do with timing...right now is not the best of times to be selling cars... (look at new dealerships and the lancer evo, for instance).

with a 7.2% unemployment rate, we're in a solid recession, and I have a pretty huge hunch it will become a depression fairly soon...atleast by the way the market has been.

It's the lone moron theory. There's one out there, and that's all it takes.

lone moron theory? how about the multiple moron theory I see many a stunnahs growing up with air compressed into their inflatable skull to keep things looking "r33lz" on the outside

for instance, 2 doors down theres this moron who bought a 2002 wrx, put a huge body kit on it, 19" rims and fast and furious decals on it. to top it off, windshield wiper nozzles and wheel LED nozzles. oh yes, one mod he got was uhm, proline exhaust or something something like that.

this thing looks like a ufo about to take off, and he swears he spent over 5000 on those mods. the icing on the cake is, he thinks awd = fast in snow, and its ok. while he was "drifting" around the streets while it was snowing...a salt truck came by and he couldnt avoid it.

salt truck 1, wrx 0.

it looks like hes ready to take off.
