Those are the rims for Chiller514. The rims were cw, but with a few curb scratches. I sanded them which tooks about 3 hours total and mounted some wood pieces to protect the mounting surface from the powder. I will get a gm powdercoat on them.
IMO the rims look very nice w/o any painting or powdering, just raw with a transparent paint would look
too.

I think I am going to sand down my 96ITR wheels and just put a satin finish on them. I think those look kind of cool how they are. Different at least.

I used a big diesel powered kompressor with a sanding gun, the air sucks the sand out of an bucket and blow it very fast on the rims, wood, metall or any kind of stuff. It is a real nice machine. You know I was protect with helmet, ear-protector and some kind of filter for my mouth and nose to do that.
The airflow out of the gun is realy loud and lots of dust in my hoses and everywhere

Just a small correction...
I think that the wheels were SANDBLASTED rather than sanded, for those who need clarification. I know that when I read sanded, I imagined by hand using sandpaper or some type of electrical powered sander.
Looks sweet though. Would love to see pics of the finished product.
