Default Rolling Fenders

I just installed a camber kit on the rear wheels of my 96 civic coupe, and I'm scared the fenders are going to rub when a load is put in the back of my car. So I was wondering if any one knows a good way to roll the fenders so that I can perhaps pull out some more camber and not have it rub and stuff..thanks

I actually had mine cut. You cant tell though by looking at it until you get under the car.

I've heard of many ways to roll your fenders: take a base ball bat and place it on top of you tire and roll the lip that way, i've even heard of some guy doing it with an old english 40oz........but the way I did all mine was with a Dremal cutting and grinding tool. That way you don't have to worry about chipping or cracking your paint.......I got as close as i could to the inner edge of the lip and then I cut it off from the inside of the finder....after i used the smaller grinder attachment and smoothed down the edges untill the lip was gone...................but there might be better ways to do it, that's just how i did mine

blueG2: how did you cut the fenders?? did you just use some metal shears?? it seems like a pretty big job to use a grinder and stuff

The baseball bat type is the way it is done here.... put it in the wheel well and have someone (SLOWLY) let the car roll forward or back.... it looks sweet if done correctly...

The only way I've ever been told to do it is to taket he bat to it, and to roll it up.

I see a couple of you talking about cutting the inner lip. I think I am going to do this by sanding with a pnematic (sp?) grinder / sander. Did you sand everything and just leave the place for the clip(s) to hold the fender liner in place afterwards? I haven't even looked at my fenders yet. Just know they rub on certain bumps and I need to do something about it.

Thanks for any advice.

I can't afford a paint job so I don't want to roll them (push them back). I know I'll mess it up that way.

I'm going to ask up at the weekend meets if anyone is interested in renting the tool.
Before I do that though I am going to see about trimming them back since I have the tools here at the house to do it. Thanks for the links anyhow!
