Best Spring rates for 89-91 civic with B16
For street, stay around 300-350lbs (5-6kg/mm). Put them on decent shocks and you'll still retain a decent ride with good handling.
Any higher and large bumps will own you.

I have run with 400lb springs in the front, with decent shocks with no problems. Are you replacing the shocks at the same time? If not, say goodbye to the ones you have. I have AGX's that have held up well on these springs, with a conservative drop. I'm not concerned about comfort and I wouldn't drive it everyday (though I usually do in the summer
). The ride is liveable though. I'd stick with something around 300lb for strictly street driving though.

i am running 550F 450R springs, and i dont reccomend it unless u run a fat rear swaybar. it could be a bit rough on the stret, but im running fat tires so its still a smooth ride
I have koni adjustables and skunk 2 440 front and 340 rear. Rides good. Except I put the car to low. going to raise it to stock hieght in the spring.
damn those are some spring rates, i am goin with koni adjustables with 475f 575r spring rates (daily driven track car) now i know my *** is gunna bounce like a fat lady waddles, but oh well, hopefully the ST rear sway bar helps a little
Im getting some h&r springs after my coilovers go out...I had the coilovers for 3 weeks now and had no probs..I might just buy another pair..
