Bouncy ride . . .
i have a question. if there are two springs, say a dropzone and an h&r. if they were the same rate, could one be bouncier than the other? i have dropzones with 350/450 rates and tokico illuminas, and want to know if its the manufacturer that makes a bouncy spring or if its the rate.

If the ride's bouncy, it's probably due to inadequate shock dampening (i.e. worn out shocks or aggressive spring rates on stock shocks).

springs aren't "bouncy" by nature. if your shocks can't handle the spring rate then the car would be bouncy. a more common and most likely reason for a car bouncing is insufficient suspension travel. ie, too low for the spring rate, or just too low period.
