as stated. also does anyone have pictures of this. the reason im considering this is because i have 17s in the front right now but it rubs alot and they look too big and the back looks good.

i used to have that setup on my 92 n/a MR2, 215/45/16F 245/40/17R

works well on a mid engined rwd car to help balance the weight load and tame the low speed under and high speed oversteer

on a ff would just be pointless

not a bad idea though, id like to see some pics...i dont think it would make that much of a difference visually...and it would free up a little extra hp that those ferris wheels are taking away!

edit: spelling

I'm pretty sure ABS would go apeshit. Anyone else have comments on the ABS factor?

Don't you care you need to rotate tires someday when you have to put 17 at the front and 16 at the rear?

So you guys judge the way a car looks with rims by if it is FF or rwd? now thats gay. "looks good on rwd and mid cars"

thats just about the dumbest thing i've heard. He wants to know how it would look, what does the drivetrain confirguration have anything to do with the actual looks of the car.

functionallity, now thats a different story. But he didnt ask about that did he.

I have a similar set-up when i hit up the track.. I have my stock wheels w/out hubs in front and my 17" in back and I notice a big different in acceleration & speed when doing so.. My 17" in front slows me down 1 sec more, according to my times.. Believe or not I hit 16.2 in my 4 door Auto LS..

I have time slipz for non believerz..

I'm actually lookin' for the slips right now, cuz i've been flamed before cuz nobody believes.. i have 1 slip uploaded at my site, but that will just cause drama cuz my time was 15.7 and that's impossible for an auto LS, as most of u will say.. i think the timer thing wasn't calibrated right or sometihng cuz i couldnt believe it myself..

haha
