Take the axle to a suspension/axle shop and have them replace and repack the joint. If there's significant wear to the mechanism, it may not be possible, though, so be ready to buy a new axle if worst comes to worst.

Does it knock when you go around corners?
If its bad it should make a loud knocking sound
when you turn sharp and accelerate. If it does
you should start thinking about a new axle/s.
