What is the diameter of the filter elbow piping? Anyone using a different filter besides the Airnx filter which was included in the kit? thanks!

3" and yes...I'm using the Apexi Universal Filter with my custom made flange for it.

I cut off the webbing and trimmed the sides a bit...viola...flange.
