Default ticking coming from the rear wheels

Pretty sure it's only the drivers side, but it's pretty loud. Does speed up with the car so it's somehow related to the wheel rotation. I'm going to put the car up on jacks and spin the tire to try and figure it out. Oddly enough I heard the exact same noice coming from a newer Accord on my way home tonight in the Jolf. As always, any help is appreciated.

Oh yeah, only thing changed recently was new tires, but the noice didn't start up until last week and the tires were put on several weeks ago.

It could be 2.536e9 things. Take off the wheel and spin the hub.

i had this same problem when i had my 96 civic. when you jack up your car, let the parking brake off, spin the wheel and if it makes that same clicking noise..its most likely the bearings. they need to be replaced. its an easy DIY job..trust me.

Yeah it's pretty easy and straightforward, but don't you need a press for these? I do have a press available so no biggy. Have a friend that can help me and he's done it on other cars, but does anyone have a how to for this car? I should probably buy a nice service manual also, any recommendations on those?

ok i just checked my crappy haynes repair manual and it doesnt say anything about pressing the hub. for the front ones you would have to though, but not the rears.

Well that sure would make it easier. I'm guessing it's probably the same for most Hondas so I'll check with my go to Honda guy as well.

It could also be a little rock between your tire trend, I had that once.

Ideally that would be the problem since I recently got new tires with deep treads and this ticking came up rather suddenly.
