Default How should I properly build my motor for turbo

I have a 1996 Honda Civic SOHC VTec D16Y8 (EX) motor and I want to turbo charge it. I plan on getting a T28 ball bearing Turbocharger. I am not looking to run HUGE hp, but I would like a good amount. So my question is: how should I properly build my motor (the internals) for the turbo?

forged pistons and rods is the way to go, get it sleeved for the most reliable though
