actually its a miata. but its rwd, and a roadster so i think of it as a "poor man's s2000" i feel like slingin the ek and pickin one up for cheap. and maybe even boosting that wonderful block which people say is pretty strong. whatcha think? bring on the flames

 

never equate a miata with an S2000...please. but hey! at least that doesnt look half bad. If anything, buy an RX..93's go for around 12 or so...

not to much of a poormans s2000, miatas go for 24-28 around here, s2000's go for 29000-32000

you need to spend more time in a place where motorsports matter, and not whats looks so "manly". ever seen a MAN driving a miata? **** yea i have. go to any regional autox, or even track day. and drivin the hell out of them too.

miatas are awesome cars. anyone who's ever had a grasp on motorsports dealing with road racing and autox will tell you so. if people would suck up their pride about them, im sure we'd see a lot more of them.

scca spec miata anyone? id like anyone to take a ride in those cars and still say they are girly, slow, or gay.

 

lol, you gotta be kidding me. once again. put a del sol on a track (with turns) and put a miata on the same track. miatas are awesome. not say they del sol's cant be set up properly either. for one, its an FR chassis.

first thing that comes to mind when i hear miata..............pads!!!! (feminine hygene stuff)!!! LOL next time your behind a miata, take a look at the brake lights when the brake is on....you will see a resemblence!!!

anyways, not to fond of the front bumper...but the rims are dope!

yeah no doubt, an S2000 weighs about the same as an Integra, a Miata is about the same as a Civic hatch. And right now, there are WAY WAYYY more mods for Miatas out than there are for the S2000.

 

You guys talk a lot of **** about Miatas, but have you ever driven one?

 

I'd rather have that Miata over a stock S2K

obviuosly you dont autocross or roadcourse your car.
the Miatas here in Upstate NY will kick *** all day long. LSD, 13x8" wheels and race prep suspension is all they need to dominate many events. Pretty sick cars when it comes to handling.

I think they look silly with bodykits and extra weight thrown on them since their best attribute is their low weight, and of course a front engine rear wheel drive setup

My friend aLmoSt-vtec here picked up a Jackson Racing supercharged Miata and that thing hauls ***... he is selling his LS integra and prepping the Miata for trackdays and autocross... lucky bastard! I cant wait to drive that ****!

All the things we love about our hondas are also true/possible with Miatas.
you can make them boost machines for drag or incredibly agile corner carvers with just a few suspension pieces.

 

miatas are nice cars...but that one sucks in my opinion. only thing i like on it is the hardtop.

the body kit is the wheels are at least get the Rota copies. Tenzo wheels all suck ***.

i think this is one of those things better left as an "idea" and not followed through.

 

Because it's one of the best-handling cars in factory trim out there. They are like little go karts and they dominate stock class in auto-x.

They are a spectacular car on a twisty road, too. I had the pleasure of driving my (late) Dad's '00 Miata S on 100+ miles of twisty road when it was brand new. It was pure driving bliss!!!
