Default I am Stumped help

Ok well i have had a 12in JL W3 in my car. But the amp was just lying there so i decided to mount the amp to a board so it wouldn't slide anymore. Ok well i went to hook it all back up today and i disconnected the negative terminal from the battery and hooked all the wires back up to the amp. And came back around to hook up the negative terminal and sparks flew. I know its suppose to spark a little but this was out of control and fried both of my fuses in my amp. Ok so i decided to do I the opposite way and leave the battery hooked up and connect the wires while it was hooked up. Well i went to plug the ground in the amp and sparks few amp was smoking a little and fuses blown again. Why is this? It was just working a few days ago. Sorry about the grammar in a hurry. Thanks!

Something is grounded. Check the entire wire. Make sure the pos and neg wires arn't touching at the amp terminals.

Make sure no strands from the positive side of the amp are touching the negative.

Maybe the screws you put in went through something you didn't want.

Ok well today i stripped all the wires down and got fresh wiring. Went to put the battery terminal back on and my friend started laughing i came around to the trunk and a huge puff oh smoke was coming out my amp. Opend up my amp to find three of the heat sinks are fried. Gonna see if the warranty is still valid if not just replace the heat sinks and try again. Thanks again.
