Changing my steering to a JDM SRS.....
I will be changing from this

Stock steering of my 98 Euro spec ITR
To this
This is out of a 98 JDM EK9.
Is the hub the same as the 98 JDM ITR? Both wheels look exactly the same but I dont know if the hub is the same?
Is it plug n play with my ITR?

Good luck! I awaited a couple years before I finally found a DC2 hub!! I was glad to remove my dusty S/W from the closest then after. This was such a headache, which I rather not go through again.
Thanks,
Victor

Correction: EK and DC hubs are not interchangeable. eg and dc interchange, EK, dc5, and ap1 interchange, (dont hold me to the rsx part)

What's wrong with your stock wheel?
Keep it, it's a nice 3 spoke design and the diameter of the JDM ITR steering wheel isn't much different.

OT: did you replace your interior door handles? or are those stock in europe? i just replaced mine with RS handles, just curious if those are stock over there.
You can either machine the hub on the ek9 steering wheel so it will fit the Integra steering column as suggested, or you can buy an EK steering column and swap yours out. i've heard of guys putting integra columns in their EKs to be able to use DC2 steering wheels, so I imagine it'd work the opposite way.
bump, i just put non SRS on mine, but my personal opinion is... not good enough, pro getting a mugen or spoon one soon , so let me know how it feel with the SRS one.
Hey Malta guy, you shouldn't ask the americans about this, because we have a totally different stock steering wheel.
I have seen some newer Euro/AUS ITR with that JDM momo wheel just out of the factory. So, possible our euro hub is the same as that EK9 wheel, but I'm not sure.....

The EK9 wheel will not work on ANY DC2.
No offense, but if you're not sure, don't mislead him.
The EK9 wheel will not work on ANY DC2.
So the hub of the EK9 is differrent from that of the 98 JDM spec ITR? Cause the wheel looks exactly the same.
Compare pictures of the back of them.
Do you guys in Malta drive on the wrong side? Did not know this.
