Default Changing my steering to a JDM SRS.....

I will be changing from this

Stock steering of my 98 Euro spec ITR

To this

This is out of a 98 JDM EK9.

Is the hub the same as the 98 JDM ITR? Both wheels look exactly the same but I dont know if the hub is the same?

Is it plug n play with my ITR?

Correction: EK and DC hubs are not interchangeable. eg and dc interchange, EK, dc5, and ap1 interchange, (dont hold me to the rsx part)

Good luck! I awaited a couple years before I finally found a DC2 hub!! I was glad to remove my dusty S/W from the closest then after. This was such a headache, which I rather not go through again.

Thanks,
Victor

What's wrong with your stock wheel?

Keep it, it's a nice 3 spoke design and the diameter of the JDM ITR steering wheel isn't much different.

You can either machine the hub on the ek9 steering wheel so it will fit the Integra steering column as suggested, or you can buy an EK steering column and swap yours out. i've heard of guys putting integra columns in their EKs to be able to use DC2 steering wheels, so I imagine it'd work the opposite way.

Hey Malta guy, you shouldn't ask the americans about this, because we have a totally different stock steering wheel.
I have seen some newer Euro/AUS ITR with that JDM momo wheel just out of the factory. So, possible our euro hub is the same as that EK9 wheel, but I'm not sure.....

In fact the Euro 99 ITR had that steering as stock and im sure about cause my friend has one. Even the 98 JDM Spec Itr had that wheel as stock! What im not sure about is that if the hub is the same as of the 98 Civic TypeR (EK9) cause where I found this steering for sale the ad said that it was out of a Civic EK9.

No offense, but if you're not sure, don't mislead him.

The EK9 wheel will not work on ANY DC2.

So the hub of the EK9 is differrent from that of the 98 JDM spec ITR? Cause the wheel looks exactly the same.
