That's why I said totally OT...give me a break...I thought people liked seeing JDM stuff here!
Hey Miraiz,
I'm just going to lend some quick law advice.
If you do plan on just strapping those speakers down on the rear deck with velcro,
I wouldn't recomend it. Only reason being is that if you were to ever get in an accident, those speakers can + will fly off very easily and could hit you in the back of the head. I've seen several cases of this and the end result is the passenger or driver ends up with brain damage. Not only that, you are liable for any damages as you would have failed to "properly" secure the speakers inplace....
Just my 2 cents.

If you are in a collision where the car goes from road speed to zero instantly, those sure as hell will fly forward, and the heavier they are, the more dangerous they are.

Yeah yeah...i know its bling bling...but the R's beautiful engine note can be tiring at times (especially on long drives).. and my current speaker setup isn't quite enough, so I bought me these:

I once saw an accident picture where an umbrella, sitting on the rear deck, went through the back of a seat and spear a guy (he died btw).
Don't underestimate how much energy that many G's will have.

they look nice and all, but why not just get upgraded speakers for the OEM locations?

You are comparing a spear like object to a big fat speaker
