96-00 EX swap into EX??? HELP!!!!!

Default 96-00 EX swap into EX??? HELP!!!!!

Has anyone ever tried swapping an EX motor from a 96-00 Civic into a CRX??? I have a friend that wants to build a SOHC Vtec monster from an EX motor and wanted me to find out. If anyone can help out here is basically what I need to know:

1) Are different motor mounts needed for fitment? If so which ones?
2) Will this motor be good compared to other SOHC motors made???

Nope its still d series so you can use stock monuts. D16y8 motors are really good motors from what ive heard. im pretty sure youll have to get a 90-91 crrx/civic SI dizzy though so that you can stay obd0 unless you talk to blown90hatch and get a conversion harness to run obd2.

ok how would i get ahold of this blown90hatch??? also, does anyone know if the 96-00 d16y8 will run better off an obd1 computer??? if so how would i take an obd0 crx with an obd2 motor and run an obd1 computer. damn this is confusing me. anyhow look forward to some responses.

you can run a pr4 (90,91 teg)if you wana stay obd0 but the motor run's alot better by useing the agressive fule curves of its origonal ecu the p28. but that requires the obd1 conversion. you can do it yourself if you have the time but im prob just going to buy the harness when i go obd1 (about a month).
