I been eyeing an apexi n1 exhaust (only)

I was wondering if there is anything bad about custom piping? I've been told they rust or stuff like that but it seems like it'll really save me some money if I go that route.

what kind of resonator would I want to look for?

 

the only bad thing i could come up about custom piping is the weight differece.

 

you mean it's heavier? Why is that the case? I thought it's stainless steel vs stainless steel?
