Well guy ive got about 1000.00 to spend on my engine, any suggestions, i was going to do turbo but im going to wait till i have more money, ive got the usual I,H,E,pipe, any suggestions on maybe internals for my 96 integra rs.

 

You could do nitrous. I dunno if $1000 would cover a complete turbo and all the fixins.

ok besides nitrous, and im not saying 1000 bucks would cover me for turbo and fix ins, im saying im going to be doing turbo later, so id like to give my engine some strength, like maybe pistons, safc, ya know.......

 

Some headwork or suspension

 

when you say head work you mean pistons, cams, cam gears **** like that or what? suspension is good with h&r's, maybe if i do safc, with cams and **** like that, would that help?

im not really too concerned with my suspension i like the way the springs are holding up right now.

ok so lets say i buy some new cams, should i get new cam gears and cams, and then lets say i was to get the safc, would the safc be able to set it up a little better?? like with new cams and **** what should i expect?

 

i would get skunk 2 stage 1 cans and some valve springs
thats about all u can get with 1000 bucks

 

do a LS vtec with out doing the internals.. well maybe you can put b16 pistons in it.. thats a some what a good way

Save that money and wait for a turbo. It'll make more power than all the little things you're going to end up doing.

cams or suspention (coilovers). believe me suspention will help acceleration even on a stock car.

 

so right now its a toss up between cams or saving for a turbo......hmmmm

 

put in the bank and save for a turbo kit, and dont buy a drag or revhard, just piece one together wiht standalone or vafc hack

 

Buy your fuel managment, its something you MUST have before turbo, buy your kit piece by piece it encourages you to get it faster

 

since you got all your basic breathing done... why don't you balance it out by hooking up your sparks and feul. get a better ignition... like the MSD SCI, with some Blaster ss coils, plugs and wires.... this is good in the future for turbo... doing your feul, like the regulator, pump, and rail, is sometimes included in the turbo kits (if you get a kit). I'm in the same predicatment...
