Here are new pictures of my 1995 GSR...

I had all my windows tinted on Sunday (except front windshield).

The back three windows are limo tint (5%).
It's not that hard to see the outside when you're driving. It just might take some getting use to, that's all.

Anyone want to guess what % the front sides are?

It's finally getting hot herRe in the Bay Area... and I can tell the tint drastically blocks the sun.

Also, in person, I think it makes my car look a lot newer and/or sleeker. All the other windows are so dark that it makes the front windshield look tinted, even though there isn't any tint on it whatsoever.

What state do you live in? From the pictures, it looks like CA, because if it is, expected to get pulled over for your tints. In CA you can only tint the 2 front windows up to 88%. The only way to keep those tints legally is if you have a doctor say that you are UV sensitive.

EDIT: I see from your license plate that you do live in CA. Besides your tints, I see that you also don't have a front license plate. You might want to put it back on if you don;t want to get stopped.

The car is under my dad's name (even though he only drives it like once every 3 months, while I drive it everyday).

He told me that a couple of months ago his doctor suggested he get tinted windows since he has a minor skin condition, and that he'd be willing to write him a note. So since we recently tinted my car's windows... my dad asked his doc to write him a 'professional note," and he agreed.

Also... about the license plate, I got my car used and the lady (she was a 35 yr old teacher!) who owned it didn't give me the other plate, so my dad has been meaning to get another plate, but i'll put it on the dashboard once i get it, not on the front.

 

Looks good, I used to have my 4 door blacked out as well. All it needs is the OEM corners and you are good to go.

 

Looks sweet! Thats one clean engine bay. Heres a pic of my tint. And it does keep the interior temp down in the summer.

Looks Nice. The back windows look real tight. I have 15% all the way around and 88% on the winshield.

 

Around here everyone has illegal tint. Now even cop cars have illegal tint. They eventually gave up busting ppl. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. Besides it's waaaaay to hot here to not have tint.

 

Yeah, the cops around here all have tint way darker than mine, and mine is way illegal. I don't know how they can see anything at all, as mine is borderline. Good thing I drive with the windows down 100% of the time when it isn't raining.

To be honest, I've read both 88% and 70% for the front 2 windows.

Heres what I got off one site:
Visor..................4"
Front doors.....70%(clear)
Rear doors...........Any
Back window..............Any

 

yes you should lower it some more.

 

Looks like my friends Sukebei oni car. Hes trying to sell his 18s, and have a 94-97 ITR lip on it now. He's also in the BayArea.
